About Shaquana

Her radiant energy and passion for international trade are frequently called upon for industry trainings and counsel. She aims to inspire those around her to learn, grow, and excel in their field with every interaction. 

That devotion to teach alongside her refreshingly dynamic spark is translated into Shaquana’s signature instruction style, fondly known as the “Shaq Breakdown.” With an emphasis on realism, mentorship, and simplicity, she makes the most complex industry concepts comprehensible and enjoyable.

Agate Solutions is an extension of those teachings as well as Shaquana’s commitment to serve. The mission is to equip organizations and individuals of all backgrounds with the tools and resources necessary to grow their skills, better defining their future success.

EXPERIENCE

Industry Experience

Shaquana is an accomplished International Trade and Global Logistics professional with over 17 years of industry experience. She uniquely specializes in duty savings and recovery with a career savings of over $30M. She also specializes in the transportation of hazardous materials. Shaquana is a Certified Customs Specialist, a Certified Duty Drawback Specialist and an active member of the International Compliance Professionals of America (ICPA Atlanta Data Group), the National Customs Broker & Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA). She is also a Board of Director at Organization of the Women in International Trade (OWIT New York City Chapter) and a Board of Director for Troops2Logistics. Shaquana holds a Masters in Science from the University of New Haven.
